Thrombocytopathic Purpura with Normal Prothrombin Consumption

Hemorrhagic Diathesis Due to Partial Platelet Dysfunction

1 Department of Medicine, the Department of Pediatrics, and the Laboratory of Clinical Research, Rothschild Hadassah University Hospital, Jerusalem, and the Bney Braq Government Hospital, Israel.

Three cases of thrombocytopathic purpura with partial platelet dysfunction are reported. The platelets were defective in clot retraction, but normal in prothrombin conversion.
