The macroglobulin isolated from a patient with macroglobulinemia was
shown to be specifically precipitable by heparin. Maximal precipitation occurred at relatively low (by weight) concentrations of heparin and persisted
over a broad range of heparin concentration. The possible clinical significance
of the finding has been briefly discussed.
