Brief Note: A Technic of Bone Marrow Transplantation in Man

A method for the transplantation of bone marrow in man is described. With
this technic it was possible to obtain up to 18 billion marrow cells from the
posterior iliac crests. The effects of this procedure on the donor and the
recipient are discussed in the light of our experience with over 100 such
transplants.
